Along the way,they encounter a huge array of wildlife including a Slately Grey Snake,an angry Scrub Python, a Rusty Monitor Goanna, feral pigs and a tree-jumping Canopy Goanna-the rarest goanna species in the world. Journey to the Red Centre Steve and Terri set off from Australia Zoo at Beerwah, on Australia's east coast, and head towards Australia's red desert interior.

While traversing some of the roughest outback terrain Steve and Terri encounter venomous snakes, desert dwelling lizards and some of the most endangered mammals in the world. This journey takes them to Australia's most famous geological landmark - Uluru (Ayers Rock).
